Studio Rental Terms & Conditions

 1. Cancellation, Reschedule & Refund Policy

a. A full payment in advance is required for your booking reservation to be confirmed.

b. Cancellation made at least five (5) days prior to Renter’s reservation date will incur 50% Cancellation fee.

c. No-shows and cancellations with fewer than five (5) days’ prior notice will be charged the full amount of the booking.

d. Reschedule made at least five (5) days prior to Renter’s reservation date will be free of charge.

e. Reschedules with fewer than five (5) days’ prior notice will be charged 25% Reschedule fee.

f. There will be no refunds made should a reschedule be made that is followed by a cancellation.

g. Company reserves right to refuse reservations at its sole discretion.

2. Rental Duration

a. Two (2) hours’ minimum rental is required for all studios, Studio CYCLO, Studio ONE and Studio TWO.

b. Renter’s term begins promptly at the designated booking start time and ends promptly at the designated booking end time. Company does not guarantee studio availability beyond end of booked slot.

c. Studio clean-up must be completed by end of rental period. Renter will return the studio to the original state and position.

d. 10 mins grace period is given before and after the booking.

e. Overtime will be calculated in increments of 30 minutes beyond booking end-time of rental period when renter is either still using, packing up, cleaning and returning the studio to its original state and position.

3. Terms of Use

a. Use of studio and equipment is at Renter’s own risk. Renter hereby waives rights to seek legal redress for mishaps, accidents, and/or loss while on Company premises located at 45 Jalan Pemimpin #07-04 Singapore 577197 and within Foo Wah Industrial Building.

b. Renter agrees to leave the studio and adjacent grounds in the same condition as they were when Renter arrived.

c. Renter is solely responsible for any legal infractions that they and members of their party make during their time on Company premises. This includes parking tickets, other violations or citations, and any legal action resulting from use of space.

d. Renter agrees to hold harmless Mount Studio, its owner, agents, representatives, and contractors acting on its behalf for any loss, accident, or injury to Renter’s self or anyone who accompanies Renter while on our premises. Renter agrees to be solely responsible for conduct and welfare of all persons accompanying Renter while on Company premises.

e. Renter is solely responsible for safety and well-being of any party Renter engages.

f. Renter agrees to hold Mount Studio, its agents, representatives, and anyone acting on behalf of Company completely harmless from any action, legal or otherwise, that results from Renter’s conduct.

4. Equipment

a. Company agrees to provide equipment and room in good working order throughout Renter’s term. If an equipment is not in good working order, Company will replace it with a similar equipment during Renter’s term.

b. Company makes no special guarantees to equipment functionality or suitability to Renter’s purposes.

c. Company is not liable for acts out of its control that affect shooting conditions, such as power outages, weather or emergencies. In the event of power outage, Company will provide an extension of studio usage time equivalent to the time that was affected.

5. Usage of Behind The Scenes Photos and Videos

a. Company reserves the right to use any behind-the-scenes photos and videos arising from the usage of our studio(s) for its own portfolio and publicity purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon.

6. Storage

a. Storage fee of $50 per day will be imposed should Renter decide to store their equipment or props at Mount Studio. 

b. Storage of items are subjected availability

7. Smoking

a. Smoking is allowed at the designated smoking spot at Level 1 outdoors and outside the building only.

b. If evidence of smoking to include scent exists inside the building or the Company’s premises, a $250 cleaning fee will be assessed to Renter.

8. Children and Pets

a. All children and pets must be supervised at all times.

b. Company will not be liable for any injury or damages to any unsupervised children or pets.

c. Renter is to clean any excretions from their pets and ensure that no stain or smell is left behind, otherwise a cleaning fee of $100 will be assessed to Renter.

9. Damages

a. Renter shall be solely responsible for any damage or theft to Company’s property or equipment that occurs during the time Renter or their party occupy the Premises.

b. Renter agrees to pay reasonable repair costs to bring damaged equipment back to working condition.

c. Renter agrees to pay for damage to the premises, including but not limited to spills, excessive wear, marks or stains on furniture, fixtures, and painted surfaces.

d. Any item within the Mount Studio inventory found missing after the rental period will result in replacement cost being assessed to Renter.

10. Flame, Fire or Pyrotechnics

a. Open flame, fire and pyrotechnics are prohibited at all times inside the facility and within the premises of the Company at 45 Jalan Pemimpin #07-04 Singapore 577197 and Foo Wah Industrial Building.

11. Miscellaneous

a. This Agreement incorporates the entire understanding and agreement between the Renter and the Company.

b. Any modifications of this Agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

c. This agreement will be sent to all Renters upon confirmation of the booking when invoice is sent.

d. Once payment is received by the Company, it is considered that Renter has agreed to abide by these terms and conditions stated above.
